Clinical Oncology Open Learning (COOL)

Description

COOL is a four-week summer program led by Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSK) to encourage undergraduates from a variety of backgrounds to consider careers in oncology.  Each student is assigned to one of our seven regional network sites in Long Island, New Jersey, or Westchester.   Students engage in oncology observation as well as conferences, educational seminars, and 1-on-1 teaching. 

Eligibility

The program is open to freshman, sophomore, junior, and seniors graduating AFTER December 2026 are eligible to apply; seniors graduating before December 2026 are NOT eligible.

*This is an on-site experience. Students are responsible for daily transportation to and from site.

Dates

Monday, June 1, 2026 – Tuesday, June 30, 2026

Full time (9:00am - 5:00pm, Monday-Friday)

No exceptions can be made for start and end dates

Stipend

Students will receive a weekly stipend.

Housing is NOT provided
