  • Fun Fact: I played field hockey all four years of high school, and my all-time favorite food is ice cream!
  • Favorite Class and Why: My favorite class was The Religious Mind with Professor Musolino. I loved how he broke down highly complex topics such as religion, morality, and the concept of belief through actual psychology and research. It was very interesting to discuss the cognitive processes that actually shaped our beliefs. Hearing and learning from all of my peers' perspectives was such a unique experience, and something I truly enjoyed in this class!

    Hi everyone! My name is Nandini Miryala, and I’m a junior majoring in Psychology with a minor in Biology. I’m currently on the pre-PA track and am leaning towards a career in dermatology! I currently work as a medical assistant at an Ophthalmology practice, volunteer as a medical scribe, and conduct research at the RARC-Morgan James lab. Outside of academics, I love staying involved on campus. I'm currently VP of DIYA (Desi Intercultural Youth Association) and social chair of PhiDE, and I have really enjoyed planning events and meeting new people at Rutgers. Besides school, I'm an avid concertgoer and love watching all kinds of movies! I'm super excited to be an HPO ambassador this semester and can't wait to meet you all!
