Advisor Details

 Emily Pereira, MLIS began advising at the HPO in February 2019.  In her 20 year history with Rutgers, she has held many positions working with students.  She is currently a Senior EOF Counselor and previously served as an Academic Advisor for SAS- Office of Advising and Academic Services.  Her bachelor’s degree is in Sociology and master’s degree is in Library and Information Science (MLIS). She is currently working on her EdD with Rutgers GSE with a concentration in Design of Learning Environments (DLE).   She is a member of National Academic Advising Association (NACADA) and National Association of Advisors for the Health Professions (NAAHP). She regularly attends professional development training sessions to better advise students.
