Emily Pereira, MLIS began advising at the HPO in February 2019. In her 20 year history with Rutgers, she has held many positions working with students. She is currently a Senior EOF Counselor and previously served as an Academic Advisor for SAS- Office of Advising and Academic Services. Her bachelor’s degree is in Sociology and master’s degree is in Library and Information Science (MLIS). She is a member of National Academic Advising Association (NACADA) and National Association of Advisors for the Health Professions (NAAHP). She regularly attends professional development training sessions to better advise students.
